
Dr. Justin Michael Reed
is associate professor of Old Testament at Louisville Seminary where he teaches with a focus on African American hermeneutics. He has earned degrees from Stanford (BA), Harvard (MTS), and Princeton Theological Seminary (PhD).
His first book, The Injustice of Noah’s Curse (forthcoming with Oxford University Press), is based on his award-winning dissertation that combines critical race theory, history of consequences, and literary approaches to offer a new meaning for a notoriously dangerous passage.
